unfortunately, it was dark so i had no idea what i was doing.
i did manage to collect some water and soil samples though
when i go down on the weekend, i need to make sure my camera is charged so i can take photos this time!!!
but i am also going to try and get soil that is a little deeper in the ground this time, i migth take a shovel and try not to look too suspicious.
i hope that when i go on the weekend, the park will be full of dogs, hopefully making it all dirty and mixed up and everything
but i am oging to take samples like this:
- 4 from the grassy area, where the dogs play. Maybe north, south, east and west
- 2, 1.5 litre bottles from 3 different areas of the beach (out on the sand spit and each side)
- 4 from the different vegetation and plant life on the beach
- and maybe something else, like the soil under the trees lining the carpark, to see if that is any different
I'm still waiting for my email from teh coucil, dogs.
